Abstract:	史学史的研究不仅是对既有研究成果的盘点，更是透过评述学人、学派的特色与贡献，产生鉴往知来的独特价值。《马新史学研究的发展与嬗变（1800—1969）》针对1800～1969年中、英文两种语言源流的文史地学术发展脉络进行梳理，厘清两者的流变并进行比较研究，以见其异同及交汇之所在。可谓补实了英语源流之马新史学发展梗概，增益我们对东南亚史、华侨华人和马新学术社群的了解。
