Abstract: In recent years, a variety of different fields of science and technology gradually entering the hospital, substantially improved the quality of medical services. In the combination with medical information, DICOM can be said to be a very successful model. In the twenty-first century, because there are a lot of technologies included in DICOM information, the DICOM-based trend is unstoppable. The current DICOM format for medical images is the common format. There are many software can read DICOM. We can perform basic image processing, but for advanced diagnosis and follow-up action or analysis is lacked. Therefore, the integrated medical imaging DIOCM processing platform is proposed in this study. The platform could read continuous DICOM data, and do image processing, such as: image segmentation, image enhancement, image fusion, etc. It also could restore the processed image into DICOM or other image formats. Finally, the proposed system could provide physicians to the more accurate location and size of the lesions.
