    Title: 2021年0418壽豐地震土壤液化噴砂初探

    Abstract: 2021年4月18日晚上10點11分及14分,花蓮縣壽豐鄉分別發生芮氏規模(ML)5.8及6.2的強震,震源深度很淺,分別為15.0與13.9 km,在水璉測站的最大地表加速度(PGA)分別達到571.86及723.59gal,震度屬於五強及六弱等級。因強震延時不長,因此並無發生建築結構震損災害,但因二個地震相鄰僅約三分鐘,在高水位之砂質河床上或河床邊之高灘地上,在第一個地震(前震)引致之超額孔隙水壓尚未完全消散時,後續較強之主震持續激發超額孔隙水壓,因此在花蓮溪及壽豐溪匯流口附近,及美崙溪之尚志橋與菁華橋附近,皆有零星或群聚噴砂,尤其在花蓮溪及壽豐溪匯流口附近河床邊,更有廣布之側向擴展(lateral spreading)現象。雖然此次地震無建物因土壤液化而產生沉陷或傾斜,但河床上或高灘地上之各種噴砂樣態,對研究液化機制,又提供了一個難得的案例,尤其也包含了原狀礫質土的液化噴出現象。相較於2018年0206花蓮地震,發生於花蓮港之礫質土液化,可能係來自於木爪溪礫質材料的回填夯實不足,也可做一個對比。
