    Abstract: 本研究以新海二期人工溼地為實驗場址,透過現地分層隨機抽樣估算人工溼地中水生植物生長密度,另以影像辨識估算水生植物分布面積,並以高溫灰化法求得植生中有機質含量,進而估算水生植物碳吸存量。研究結果發現,新海二期溼地五種優勢水生植物碳吸存量為:蘆葦(Phragmites australis)501.7gC m^(-2) yr^(-1)、長苞香蒲(Typha angustata)135.6gC m^(-2) yr^(-1)、蕹菜(Ipomoea aquatica)82.3gC m^(-2) yr^(-1)、巴拉草(Brachiaria mutica)26.8gC m^(-2) yr^(-1)、臺灣水龍(Ludwigia x taiwanensis Peng)17.5gC m^(-2) yr^(-1),水生植物碳吸存量與植生葉面積指數、植生葉片面積成正相關。新海二期溼地優勢水生植物碳吸存量為211.0gC m^(-2) yr^(-1)。由植生影像辨識可知新海二期人工溼地植生面積為35,652m^(-2),推估新海二期溼地水生植物碳吸存量為7.5ton yr^(-1)。
