With the growing focus on saving energy and increasing environmental awareness among firms globally, it is critical to explore the execution of corporate greening in subsidiaries of multi-national companies (MNCs). This study utilizes the natural resource-based view to investigate how green leadership can enhance green human capital management (HCM).Based on a quantitative analysis of 212 MNCs’ subsidiaries in China, we find that green leadership positively affects greeningHCM. Further,greeningHCM has mediating effects on the relationship between green leadership and green competitive human capital. This study also highlights some implications and suggestions for theoretical development and practical implication.
