    Abstract: 各大學為因應時代變化與學用合一之籲求，近年間陸續規畫部分課程轉型，「出版編輯」因此得以進入新開設的選修學分之列。淡江大學中文系自多年前便設有「文藝編輯學」、「中文編輯與採訪」、「編輯與出版」、「台灣文學與圖書出版專題」等課程，並在實務選修部分特闢「創作編採學群」，提供學生兼重理論認知及實務操作的學習機會。唯坊間仍有視出版編輯為師徒經驗傳授、不具研究價值的偏見，亟需以嚴肅態度及正式規範之學術討論，予以大力匡正。本書收錄了各大學中文系講授編輯課程、從事實際編務、策畫出版選題的學者專家之卓見，以及對多位一代名編的珍貴回憶，盼能藉此激盪出對「當代編輯學」的重新思考。
