Abstract: In the home media network, Cable Modem is a connected device that most people have well known. People are always looking for none of the lagging network happening. Therefore, the objective of making effective bandwidth control is becoming more important recently. In this paper, we are going to propose a mechanism that controlling the bandwidth based on the service workload. Applying this way, it is useful to decide when is the timing that increasing the service bandwidth. Furthermore, the delay time is effectively reduced accordingly.
