Abstract: Visible Light Communication (VLC) is a fast-growing technology to provide data communication using low-cost light-emitting diode (LED) and photodiodes. Due to multiple-input multiple output (MIMO) is a wireless technology for sending and receiving more than one data streams on the same channel at the same time by exploiting multi-path propagation. In this paper, we propose an indoor CSI-HARQ MIMO VLC scheme based pre-coding carrier allocation and ICA. HARQ is an important protocol used in packet transmission to provide reliable data communication. The coded packet is then de-multiplexed into two separate data streams transmitted from the two individual transmits LEDs. If errors are detected the receiver requests a retransmission of the packet. The retransmitted packet and the previous erroneous packet are then combined together at the symbollevel. Currently we are working on the simulation environment to build up and evaluate the proposed CSI-HARQ MIMO VLC scheme.
