Abstract:	被視為戲劇界重量級的英國劇作家，凱洛．邱琪兒（Caryl Churchill,1938-）在《沼澤地》（Fen 1983）中表現出她對勞工階級女性的關心。本文分析《沼澤地》一劇中邱琪兒對工作（work）的女性主義批評，並探求勞工階級女性的主體意識。論文第一部分以沼澤地婦女為例，重新檢視工作地方（workplace）。首先分析公私領域分離的意識形態，而後進一步論證勞工階級女性不受傳統的公私領域分離規範，不論是私領域或是公領域都是她們的工作場所。第二部分緊接討論在沼澤地工作與家庭工作中的異化感（alienation）。基於性別差異，勞工階級女性受到更強烈的異化感且亦與男性的異化感不同。最後，論文第三部分研究勞工階級女性覺醒於父權與資本主義意識形態的可能，並說明女性主體（female subject）改變的潛能。
