    Abstract: 我國產險業於2015年獲保險主管機關核准得經營長期健康險業務，由於長期險經營風險一向高於短期險，一直以來都由擅長經營長期險的壽險業所經營，相對善於經營短期險的產險業遽然投入長期險的經營，是否會因此承擔過高的經營風險，是本文興趣之所在，我們透過分析健康險的歷史發展軌跡、險種特性與經驗的分析與評估，推測產險業經營長期健康險業務規模難有較大的擴展，惟在績效方面還是有利潤空間，仍值得產險業者積極投入經營。
