    Abstract: 本研究以淡江大學德文系學生為研究對象，採問卷調查方式初探第二語言英語（L2）學習經驗與第三語言德語（L3）學習之關係。本研究首先要探討的問題是L3學習的過程與困難點，其次探討學習L3時，L2帶來之正負效應，最後探討L2之程度是否影響L3學習。調查結果指出，學習者認為德語最難的項目為口說及聽力。此外，英語整體程度和德語整體程度呈正相關；英語整體程度較高組的學生，學習德語時，將英語視為助力的比例顯著高於英語整體程度中等的學生。本研究支持英語學習經驗對德語學習具有正面效益。
