    Abstract: In this paper we proposed an authoring system that allows librarians to be able to construct and maintain a graphic-based navigation system by themselves that provides the graphic searching function based on original Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC) systems. On the other hand, patrons can use their mobile devices to display the created graphic map indicating the positions of required books. Through transforming a floor plan into spatial information connected to call numbers, which is equivalent to book addresses, the position accuracy is increased to a coordinate block divided by a shelf.
