    摘要: 在現今科技、醫療及技術快速發展的時代下，人類平均壽命的延長導致老人照顧與安養問題備受關注，社區照顧的議題及需求與日俱增。此一將成為社會現今必須面臨的重大問題及挑戰並衝擊現有社會安全體系及社會福利制度。在這樣的環境下，各國政府推動了不少的法案及政策以應變高齡化所衍生而來的照顧問題。是故，本論文將進一步地去探討英國在老人社區照顧的政策及法案是如何制定及採行的計畫和具體實踐行動，最後也為台灣在老人社區照顧政策及實踐上提供相關的參考建議。
    In the generation of the rapid development of science and medical technology, the average of life expectancy has brought the attention to the problem of care for the elderly, this issue and demands are increasing everyday. This will become a major problem which influence the Social Security System and Social Welfare System nowadays; therefore, government has been promoting a lot of bills and policies to solve the problem. Hence, this study is going to discuss how to work out a plan and specific action of community care for the elderly in United Kingdom. At last, hopefully this study will also provide Taiwan some advice for the community care for elderly in the future.
