    摘要: 本研究只在分析尼加拉瓜與美所簽訂CAFTA-DR自由貿易協定後對尼加拉瓜所產生的政經影響，一般而言政策或條約的設立將對國家的政治、經濟兩層面相應的改變，而本研究的主要認為該自由貿易協定對於尼加拉瓜當地的經濟發展具有顯著且積極的正面影響，然而在簽訂後的六年間由未能在國內政治產生直接、可見的影響，故針對本自由貿易協定的研究則更需由國際政治經濟學的角度切入探討。
    The research aims to analyze the commercial relationship between Nicaragua and the United States of America throughout CAFTA-DR (Central America- Dominican Republic Free Trade Agreement) and its impacts the economy and the domestic politics of Nicaragua.
    The main argument of the research is that CAFTA-DR has been a very important tool for the economic development of Nicaragua having a positive impact in the most important sectors of Nicaraguan economy, however until the moment the FTA have not showed any impact in the politics of the country and it have not been able to spread the values of democracy, freedom and improve the rule of law in the region.
