    Abstract: 輕作為現代建築中的一種現象,有多種背後的原因。本研究通過回顧建築師Buckminster Fuller、Frei Otto以及SANAA的建築思想和建築作品的起源與輕的關係,分析建築師對於建築“輕”的解讀以及他們對於建築“輕”的操作手法。從中可以看到,雖然“輕”是他們共同的著力點,但其背後表達的建築現象卻是不同的。“輕”既可以來自於科學的推演也可以來自於結構的優化,還可以來自於人們的感知。這些不同是建築師在建築與能源與人之間關係的背景下,對於不同建築問題解決的結果,這些建築問題包括材料,結構,空間以及人的感受等。
    薄膜作為一種輕的建築材料,其“輕”來自於物質本身。是否可以將物質的輕與感知的輕相結合來創造薄膜建築更多層次的建築的“輕”,本研究以模型操作的方法在薄膜材料本身特性的基礎上發展其在建築“輕”的空間表達上的可能性。并以此為原型結合幼兒教育對於空間特性的需求,設計以薄膜為建築材料的幼兒園。以此展現建築“輕”的設計,及應用。
    建築“輕”的意義本質上不在於視覺上的輕,而在於建築環境中人的行為的改變。建築的“輕”是建築行為的結果,是在建築生命週期中人和環境獲得更多的自由,和更少的能源負擔。
    Lightness as a phenomenon of modern architecture, there are many reasons behind it. This study reviews the architect Buckminster Fuller, Frei Otto and SANAA about their architectural thinking and works which represent the lightness of architecture, study what''s the definition of the "lightness" in their work and how they achieve "lightness" . It can be seen that although the "lightness" is their common focal, but the architecture phenomenon of expression is different. "Lightness" can be derived from the principles of science, to be derived from the optimization of the structure, or can be from people''s perception. These difference, the result of different architects trying to deal with the relationship between architecture and energy and people, comes from the results of different architecture problems including materials, structure, space, and people''s emotion.
    In this study chose membrane as an example material to achieve the lightness of architecture, and also tying to find out how to make different spaces by membrane. Nowadays, the membrane system tends to meet the needs of permanent architecture materials. In this study, model study methds will be applied to analysis how many kinds of space can be created by membrane material, and what''s the properties of these space. And taking the study result as prototypes for the combination of spatial characteristics of early childhood education, to design a kindergarten by membrane. This design process shows how architecture can be "lightness" and what the application can be.
    The lightness of architecture means essentially not visual, but rather changing the built environment of human being. The lightness of architecture is the result of the behavior of the architecture, leading to a more de-lightful life and less energy burden.
