《四庫全書》為清高宗乾隆皇帝下令編纂，將所收書籍分為經、 史、子、集四部，並於部下分類，類下再分子目，共分為四部四十四類六十六子目，本論文研究範圍為《四庫全書˙史部˙地理類四˙外紀之屬》共十七本外紀圖書。 中國自古對周邊鄰國以文化產生深刻影響，其強大之政治力引致許 多國家前往朝貢，並形成政治臣屬的關係，因此對於外國的認識與了解以獲得經濟政治上的利益與軍事上的確保，便成為外紀書形成的原因。 本論文就《四庫全書˙外紀之屬》所收錄之外紀圖書之收錄概況、作者背景以至書籍內容進行探討，以深入了解十七本外紀書撰書目的、內容，以及其留存至今對於學術界的研究價值。 因此本文之研究方法主要以《四庫全書˙史部˙地理類四˙外紀之屬》所著錄之十七本外紀書為主，依其內容並參以各大正史及相關之研究專書、論文及期刊以梳理出本論文所需之內容與研究方向。 全文共五章，分別為第一章<緒論>，第二章<中國歷代外紀圖書收錄概況>，第三章<《四庫全書》收錄外紀書概況>，第四章<《四庫全書》外紀書收錄內容分析>以及第五章<結論>。 This study used the profile of collection books, writers background and the contexts of Wai Ji Categories on the documents which are Wai Ji Categories in Si Ku Quan Shu：Historical to reveal the writing purpose, the context and the research worth to the present academia. The research method is mainly to focus on the seventeen boos, which are Wai Ji Categories in Si Ku Quan Shu：Historical, with historical records of every dynasty, research books, papers and periodical relevant to Wai Ji to ascertain that the substance and the research purpose which this study need. This paper comprises five chapters, including Ch1: Introduction, Ch2: The Profile of Collections of Wai Ji on Dynasties in Chinese History, Ch3: The Profile of Collections of Wai Ji in Si Ku Quan Shu：Historical and Ch5: Conclusion.
