In modern society, the knowledge has been considered the key of individual and organizations to prospers, the process of sharing knowledge can help individual and organizations to improve efficiency.In the past the paper about sharing knowledge is focusing on government and education organizations, there are few researches focusing on the knowledge sharing process in academic institutions, which cause that they have been limited in specific area, even in those researches the objects only focus on Master degree students, PHD students and researchers, in domestic there is no research that take University professor as research objects, therefore limit the awareness of major factory might influence the process of sharing knowledge in academic field. Based on this fact, our research is trying to find out what are the major factors that influence the level of college professor in the process of sharing knowledge’s willingness, and frequency of college professor in the process of sharing knowledge. Research shows that in Tamkang University professor are highly active on sharing knowledge also are willing to process the behavior of sharing knowledge. Beside these two behaviors, the major factories that influence the willing of sharing knowledge were included in following conditions: self-efficacy, the attitude of sharing knowledge, expect interest, eldership in academic area, organization culture and excellent teacher award. In those factories willing of sharing knowledge, eldership in academic area and organization culture have complete or a part of intermediary relationship on the behavior of sharing knowledge. This research theoretic support the understanding of sharing knowledge behavior under the context of domestic academic institution in reality this research can offer advice on how to enhance the behavior of sharing knowledge.
