    Abstract: 產品協同設計已是企業最重要的競爭優勢來源之一,一般來說參與產品協同設計的客戶大多為企業前五大或是前十大的排名。企業必須強化顧客關係與完善的有效率的產品協同設計對新產品開發績效是很有影響的。協同設計管理機制除了制度和平台的建立之外,合理和最佳化的流程也是重要的一環。本研究以工業電腦為例,探討業界新產品開發與導入產品協同設計在專案管理開發流程的架構與特性下,影響企業經營績效的結果。本研究目的分為以下幾點 :
    一、探討企業與客戶間產品協同設計對新產品開發流程的影響。
    二、探討協同設計如何有效達到客戶及市場需求。
    三、探討協同設計對於客製化新產品開發績效的影響。
    研究過程經由「個案研究法」及「深度訪談法」等質化方式,從個案資料分析結果歸納出工業電腦在垂直市場的角色定位,標準品與客製品在新產品開發流程的差異及客製化產品在協同設計開發流程的作業機制,並整理出以下三點結論:
    一、企業與客戶之間的產品協同設計除了企業應具備核心能力外,也要與客戶維持良好的協同合作,開發出成功的產品才能達到新產品開發績效。
    二、企業與客戶之間可以透過協同設計的模式,共同開發某個特定市場或是應用環境所設計的新產品,推出有競爭力的新產品,不僅可以幫助系統整合商快速整合,也能為公司開拓新市場達到公司營收目標。
    三、企業端與客戶端的研發團隊可以依工作職能進行最佳化的分工合作、任務調派,以及整合資訊,共同維護新產品開發流程的設計方案及審查會議,可以避免樣品出錯與提升產品品質,有效掌握新產品開發進度,讓新產品專案順利完成。
    Collaborative product design is one of the most important factor of corporate competitive advantage. In general, most clients participating in collaborative product designs are enterprises that rank in the top five or top ten. Enterprises must strengthen customer relationships and improve efficiency of product collaborative design, which is influential for the development performance of new products. In addition to the establishment of systems and platforms, having a rational and optimized process is also an important part of a collaborative design management system. This study takes industrial computers as an example. The aim is to explore how new product development and collaborative design within project management boundary can be influential towards business performance. The objectives of this study are as follows:
    1.To explore how new product development process can be affected by collaborative product design driven by enterprise and client.
    2.To explore how collaborative design effectively meets the demands of clients and markets.
    3.To explore how collaborative design affects the development performance of new product customization.
    Adopting qualitative approaches including “case studies” and “in-depth interviews”, a few conclusions are drawn from the analysis of the role of industrial computers in vertical markets, the differences of standard and customized products in the new product development process, and the operational mechanisms of making customized products following the collaborative design and development process.
    1.To optimize collaborative design, enterprise need to have core competence and good relationship with her client. This is a very important factor in order to create a successful product and utilize new product development performance.
    2.Adopting collaborative design, enterprise and client can leverage their development capability and market knowledge in order to create a competitive product/vertical solution. Then, lead to business optimization.
    3.Key factors to a successful project are to minimized design errors, increase product quality and utilize project schedule. To achieve this, the enterprise and client have to optimize job distribution, mission assignments and to integrate information.Both parties need to also jointly maintain product design propositions and have routine review meeting.
