本研究係以H銀行為個案研究探討之對象，採用Lin and Pao(2004)之理論架構，探討H銀行金融產業競爭策略形成之要素，以7S模型來分析個案銀行內部環境，用五力分析模型進行產業環境之評估，再以PESTEL架構進行總體環境對其之影響，進而歸納出企業競爭形成之主要相關因素。
我國銀行業競爭力明顯過於分散，為改善本國銀行在國際間的競爭力，合併是提升銀行快速成長的方式，採合併之策略後，銀行可以擴張金融版圖、延伸通路，提昇經營績效，在唯利的金融市場下，以達經濟之範疇。 Domestic banking industry is facing adverse conditions, including over competition, homogeneous services and the lack of innovation. Therefore, Taiwan authority has been engaging in financial deregulation and internationalization since 2014, hoping that domestic banks might expand their market share in Asia.
In this research, Bank H is used as the case study. Lin and Pao(2004) theoretical framework, Five Force model, 7S model and PESTEL model are applied to analyze Bank H’s competitiveness.
In order to enhance the competiveness of domestic banks, merger and acquisition could be the most efficient method, for banks could not only reach new businesses, but also expand their sales network in a short time, and hopefully achieve scale of economy.
