Abstract: This paper first applies flux vector type splitting method based on numerical speed of sound for computing incompressible single and multi-fluid flows. Here, a preconditioning matrix concept is used to modify the incompressible multi-fluid Navier-Stokes Equations to be hyperbolic. The current approach can be expended to simulate the cavtation, plasma actuator flow and bubbly flow problems. Also, some sharp interface capturing techniques are used to maintain the preservation of sharp interface evolutions in multi-fluid flow simulation. Benchmark tests including some problems of bubble rising, cavitited blunt body flow and flow control by plasma actuator flow.
