Abstract:	為能繼續創抯自行車的永續運輸環境，交通部自2009-2012共4年積極推動東部自行車路網示範計畫.，已於東部地區結合政府、產業等資源完整打造自行車遊憩島的短期目標第一階段外。交通部希望借鏡東部自行車路網示範計畫經驗，持續建置西部自行車示範路網及西部自行車旅遊外，希望能自行車風氣持續擴散至生活面，自行車融入生活，從產業發展、交通運輸、教育文化等面向，搆建完善之自行車島網，進而拣到綠色交通、節能減碳長期目標
