    摘要: The mass transfer in a parallel-plate concurrent gas-liquid membrane contactor was investigated theoretically and experimentally in this study. With physical carbon dioxide absorption by amine, the numerical solution was obtained using the Runge–Kutta method with shooting method. The absorption efficiency enhancement is represented graphically and validated by the experimental results. The absorption efficiency, average Sherwood number and concentration distributions are represented graphically with absorbent flow rate, gas feed flow rate and inlet CO2 concentration in the gas feed as parameters. The correlation is expressed as eddy promoter and can be used for predicting the heat transfer coefficient for attaching fins in flow channels. The new design of eddy promoter can effectively enhance the mass flux, among the operating conditions set in this study.
