    Abstract: In this paper, we present a remote anemometer considering both optical pumping and wind power systems, which can realize a tiny wind speed monitoring system by incorporating an optically pumped laser diode. In the experiment, the proposed remote anemometer can operate effectively at lower wind speed under the insufficient wind power energy.
