    Abstract: 本文建構一個新古典的成長模型，討論平均每人工作時間（勞動供給）和生育率之間的關係。我們發現在某些合理的參數空間下，兩者間具有負向的關係，也符合實證文獻的結果。模型中的效用函數延續Becker and Barro (1988)和Barro and Becker (1989)的精神再加入勞動供給。而養育小孩成本的設計延續Barro and Sala-i-Martin (2004)的方式，以資源的消耗來刻畫其成本。
