摘要:	透過已執行三年的國科會數位典藏國家型科技計畫「蘭嶼原住民媒體數位典藏與資料庫建置」計畫為例，本文探討具有地方文化特色與媒體資料庫，如何可以轉換成線上數位學習與教育應用的工具，使數位典藏不再是一個靜態的名詞，而能成為新知識經濟體系下創意產業的一環。在透過典藏品數位化、網頁設計與管理、以及典藏內容經規劃後轉換成數位學習的功能後，期待本計畫能成為一個讓學習者有效認識蘭嶼原住民部落、並進而汲取原住民文化內涵與相關知識的學習資料庫。 Based on a research project entitled “The Establishment of Media Database of Orchid Island” supported by National Science Council, this article explores the application of digital archives to E learning. Orchid Island is inhabited by unique aboriginal people in Taiwan. Many newspaper, documentary films, radio programs and photographs of Orchid Island have been digitalized, stored in a database and presented in a well-established website. This article aims to find out how these digital contents could be utilized in online learning environment. Issues of digital archive’s relation to creative industries and new knowledge economy are also discussed.
