結合相關文獻探討及焦點團體座談以設計研究問卷，針對新北市政府警察局所屬158位分駐、派出所所長進行普查，共計回收有效問卷144份，採用量化分析，依據問卷調查所蒐集之資料進行單因子變異數分析（One-way ANOVA）及相關分析（Correlation analysis）。
The purpose of this study is to investigate the emotional labor and job satisfaction of the police station chief of New Taipei City Police Department, and the correlation between the differences of the personal attributes, emotional labor and job satisfaction.
This study through discussing related literatures and focus group seminar to design the questionnaire, and conducted the census for the 158 police station chief of New Taipei City Police Department, and 144 of them returned their responses. The researcher adopted the quantitative method to investigate, and the data the researcher collected were analyzed via approaches of One-way ANOVA and Correlation analysis.
The conclusions of the study are shown as follows four ways:
1. The emotional labor of the Police Station Chief reached middle-high level. There were no differences between emotional labor of age, marriage and working duration. In addition, the correlation of surface acting and entire emotional labor is the highest by affecting among differences of education background, job position level, working duration and numbers of police beat.
2. The job satisfaction of the Police Station Chief reached middle-high level. There were no differences between emotional labor of age, marriage and working (director) duration. In addition, entire job satisfaction of police officer team, basic special team and sergeant (in director position) is the lowest by affecting among differences of education background, job position level, working duration and numbers of police beat.
3. The correlation between emotional labor and job satisfaction of executives reached middle level. The more positive emotional labor took, the better job satisfaction occurred.
4. The correlation between emotional labor and job satisfaction of executives reached except negative acting of subordinate reached significantly level. The job demands for organize and entire job satisfaction were positively correlated.
