    Abstract:
    Abstract:
In recent years, firms have attempted to utilize team work to improve productivity and team effectiveness. However, the level of team performance varies with the leadership styles. Hence, the purposes of the study are to examine the influences of transformational leadership and transactional leadership on employees’ job satisfaction and team performance as well as the effect of employees’ job satisfaction on team performance. We collected data from 125 managers and 586 employees in mobile device stores, and then conducted subsequent analyses. The results of hierarchical regression analysis showed that both transformational leadership and transactional leadership had positive effects on employees’ job satisfaction and team performance. Employees’ job satisfaction also had a positive effect on team performance. We discuss implications of these findings, limitations, and directions for future research.
