    摘要: 本文提出需要創造一個海上航道跟巴拿馬運河相輔相成,在努力之下連接亞洲與美國東岸的市場(世界最大的消費市場),反之亦然。
    所以最為可行的方式就是利用宏都拉斯來達到輔助的效果,宏國地格雷島有阿瑪帕拉港,是在豐賽卡海灣唯一的深水港,宏都拉斯在加勒比海有兩個可供航行的港口,卡斯提亞為兩者間最好的深水港,柯提斯港則是中美洲唯一可運用的深水港,也是拉丁美洲第一個得到美國政府安全認證的港口、貨櫃安全認證(CSI)以及大型港口認證。
    這建設包含了一項源自於十九世紀的計畫,建造跨洋火車。這項計畫的可行性來自於Maersk公司,他的400公噸的大船triple E,為世界上最大,在全球也僅有少數幾個港口能夠有資格停放,宏都拉斯正在建造跨洋火車,由四條軌道所組成,且能連接安帕拉以及卡斯提亞及柯提斯,縮減船運公司的時間與成本,每磅的價格約能落在10至15美分之間。(目前行情在20美分左右)。
    此等計畫將由特別經濟發展區(ZEDES)所補足,其功能包含製造、營運、物流及財金樞紐,其間也會連接道路網絡及物流通道,每個ZEDE彼此之間藉著這些串聯已成立的免稅區、集貨中心及港口互通有無。
    這項計畫不僅提供能舒緩國際貿易的管道,更能將宏都拉斯在拉丁美洲定位成主要物流中心之一,亦能成為美國東岸前往亞洲的主要樞紐。世界上主要20大港口有15個在亞洲,而此等港口又至少須透過世界1至3個港口才能到達美國東岸市場。
    This paper presents the need to create a seaway to complement the Panama Canal, in their efforts to unite Asia with the East market in the United State (the largest consumer market in the world) and vice versa.
    So it is suggested that one of the most viable alternative is to use Honduras as a com-plementary route, this nation has in Isla del Tigre the Amapala Port, the only deepwater port in the Fonseca Gulf, in the Caribbean coast Honduras has two port, Castilla which has the greatest depth of the two and Puerto Cortés the only deep-water port opera-tional in Central America and is the first port in Latin America to qualify to the security Port programs of the US government, the Container Security Initiative (CSI) and Mega Port Initiative.
    The inclusion of the establishment of the project dating from the nineteenth century, the creation of an inter-oceanic train. This project became feasible since the company Maersk, launched his boat triple E, 400 mts boats, which are the largest in the world and few ports has the characterize to serve them; Honduras is building the Interoceanic train, which consist of four railroads that would unite Amapala by side with Castilla y Cortes, reducing time and costs to the shipping companies, which could range 15 to 10 US cents per pound (currently around 20 US cents).
    These projects would be complemented by Special Economic Development Zones (ZEDES), with which function as financial, logistical, operational and even manufac-turing hub, which would be interconnected with a network of roads and logistics cor-ridors crossing each ZEDE with those already created Free zones collection centers and ports.
    This project not only would provide a respite to international trade but would position Honduras as a major logistics centers in Latin America and the main asian hub in america to the eastern market of the United States. 15 of the top 20 ports in the world are in Asia and these have to be connected with one and up to three ports in the world to reach the eastern market of the US.
