Abstract:	巴拿馬的華人在歷經超過一個世紀的演進，由1854年第一批修建鐵路的華工到今天在各行各業頭角崢嶸的發展。巴拿馬華人與巴國的建設息息相關，從鐵路到世界知名的巴拿馬運河都曾有過華人的身影，他們早已與巴拿馬社會融為一體。　　2014年適逢華人抵巴160週年，也是巴拿馬運河建成的100週年，華僑們憑著過人的意志與堅毅的精神，如今贏得巴國從上到下的一致讚賞。　　自從兩岸分治，兩岸施行的僑務政策對巴拿馬的華人也產生一定程度的影響。中華民國歷經了烽火外交政策引起的僑務競爭;因活路外交政策而起的僑務休兵政策，另外在中國大陸方面，經過了文化大革命與改革開放，中華民國與中國大陸每段時期對於華僑的態度都有不同，因而從兩岸的僑務政策對中南美洲，尤其是巴拿馬共和國華僑的影響深入研究。 The history of Chinese-Panamanian begins at the year 1854, when China was under the Ching Dynasty. There were civil wars and also enemies from the outside, time was hard and has forced the people to work overseas as contract workers. In this research have tried to answer the main reason why people want to leave the country, and most of them were forced or drugged to work underpaid. Luckily, for the time being, overseas Chinese had made their way for living around and also Panama. After the cross-strait governments had there own overseas Chinese affairs policy, the way they treated overseas Chinese has influence and changed their perspective of the relationship between the government and themselves.
