Abstract
Automated optical inspection (AOI) systems suffer a lot of problems in the illumination control and unstable working environment. In this paper, we proposed a tailored design method which combines a keypoint based image alignment and an illumination adjusted comparison algorithms for the automated optical inspection systems. Further, an error tolerance control method for inherited noises and computation errors is also introduced.
