    Abstract: 本計畫擬建構一個包含一家位於第三國的中間財供應商、一家北國(最終財)廠商N 與 一家南國(最終財)廠商S 的一個三國三廠的理論模型,藉此模型來討論南國政府對於 智慧財產權保護的強弱對於中間財廠商的訂價行為與南北國最終財廠商競爭的影響。在 考慮中間財廠商訂價決策下,本計畫希望討論 (1) 南國政府IPR 的保護政策如何影響中 間財廠商訂價決策? (2) 南國政府執行IPR 政策是否必然會降低南國廠商利潤? (3) IPR 的保護政策,是否必定會提高消費者的福利?(4) IPR 的保護是否有助於提高全球福 利?
    This project establishes a North-south model, includes a intermediate firm, a firm for final good in north country and a firm for final good in north country, to discuss the impact of IPR on the pricing behavior of the intermediate firm and on the competition between two final goods firm. The purpose of this project is (1) to investigate how the IPR policy of South country affects the pricing behavior of the intermediate firm? (2) to explore whether the IPR protection must hurt the firm and the consumer in South country?(3) to investigate whether the IPR protection will global welfare or not?
