    論文提要內容:
    台灣自1990年起開放金融機構設立,金融機構家數較東京、香港等國際金融中心高出許多,呈現過多傾向。由於產業陸續外移,使得台灣各項產業的投資、產值、就業與生產力發生明顯變化,同業爭奪少數客源為常態,競相削價利差縮小、獲利減少,金融業經營環境日益惡化。另金融環境瞬息萬變,金融人員之挑戰日增,金融業已非金飯碗,淪為高度壓力及風險之行業。金融業在競爭激烈的環境下,多數進行營運改造,管理方法大幅改變;再者銀行營收結構,由傳統利差交易收入,轉變為注重財富管理,手續費收入占比日增。緣此,經營環境對於銀行分行經理的挑戰更甚以往,分行經理的管理方法、專業職能及遭遇逆境時的自處能力、及是否具有高度的抗壓性等,為本研究欲瞭解分行經理在面對金融環境大幅變動及挑戰,其逆境商數為何,及欲探討C銀行分行經理之逆境商數對工作績效之影響為何?。
    在確定研究動機、擬定研究方向及研究目的後,對國內外之相關文獻加以歸納整理,再根據其理論基礎建立本研究之架構與假說。本論文之研究對象為C商業銀行分行經理人,探討C商業銀行分行經理人的逆境商數與工作績效的關聯性進行實證調查研究。本研究採普測方式進行,究總計發放182份問卷,回收樣本數為182份,有效樣本為182份,有效樣本回收率為100%。透過敘述性統計、信度分析、卡方分析、相關分析及迴歸分析方法進行分析,其主要研究結果如下:
    1. C商業銀行分行經理人的逆境商數顯著正向影響工作績效。意即,C商業銀行分行經理人的逆境商數越高,其工作績效越高。
    2. 婚姻、教育程度與績效考核組別均與逆境商數的程度有顯著關聯性。研究結果顯示,C商業銀行分行經理人以已婚、教育程度為大學(含學院)、績效考核組別為C、G組,具有較高程度的逆境商數。

    Abstract:
    There are excessively more numbers of financial institutions in Taiwan than that of Tokyo, Hong Kong or other international financial centers since allowing privatized banking establishment in 1990. Due to continuous relocation of industry leaving Taiwan, industry investments, outputs, employments and productivities dramatically changed. It became norm for companies to compete for fewer clients. As a result of price competition, margin and profit diminished, and the operating environment for financial sector became even worse. On top of the rapidly changing financial environment, there are more challenges facing people who work in the financial sector. Financial sector is no longer a golden job secured industry, but a highly pressured and risky industry. As a result of fierce competitive environment, many banks undergo operational restructure and managerial method changes. In addition, the net profit component structure changes from the traditional savings and loan interest margin to wealth management and fee income based revenues. Therefore, bank branch managers face more challenges to the operating environment. Considering a branch manager’s managerial method, professional skillsets, the ability to counter adversity and the degree in coping pressures, this research paper tries to understand what is the branch manager’s adversity quotient level when facing dynamic changing financial environment and challenges. Also whether C bank branch manager’s adversity quotient influences job performance.
    This thesis began by reviewing the relevant articles, and the research framework and hypotheses were developed according to relevant theories. This research used to conduct a general survey of methods for the C commercial bank branch managers the entire census. Total 182 questionnaires had been distributed, and 182 valid samples were retrieved. According to descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, and the Partial Least Square, the major conclusions are as follows:
    This research use the questionnaire survey on C commercial bank branch managers and analyzes 182 efficient samples by performing descriptive statistics, factor analysis, reliability analysis, ANOVA, chi-square analysis, correlation and regression analyses. After the empirical research, the major finding as follows:
    1. C commercial bank branch manager’s adversity quotient have positive influence of job performance. That is, the higher the C commercial bank branch manager’s adversity quotient, the better the job performance.
    2. Marital status, education level and performance evaluation group are highly correlated with adversity quotient. The result shows that married C commercial bank branch managers, university graduates (including college graduates) and ones under performance evaluation group C and G, have a higher level of adversity quotient.
