    Title: 草醯胺架構及雙亞胺基液晶分子之合成與性質探討

    Abstract: 此篇論文以草醯胺分子為中心主要架構合成nCm-ehnom,與酮基的縮合反應,得到imine 的衍生物,但因先前研究發現在此分子中心若是屬於較為剛硬結構,不易產生液晶相,或是產生的液晶相範圍相當短,因此將中心核部分延長以增加擾動性,試圖產生液晶相或使液晶相範圍增加,並且利用改變長鏈的鏈數與碳數,來創造出不同性質或排列方式的液晶分子。
    而另外一部份的研究2Cm-npbhz 在設計中心核部分時,以雙亞胺與酮基的縮合反應,得到imine 的衍生物,並在苯環處加上硝基,此時硝基為electron accepter,亞胺基為electrondonor,產生極化現象,進而使整個分子具有鐵電性質,同時以利分子的排列,改變其長鏈的碳數,並比較其液晶分子的性質。

    Three series of molecules are linked by oxamide core, were studied. The synthesis, characterizations and mesogenic properties of these compounds which are 3Cn-ehnom、2Cn-ehnom、1Cn-ehnom is reported.The elemental analysis and spectroscopic (NMR,Mass,PXRD)have been employed to investigate these compounds.
    The mesogenic behaviors of three series of oxamide-core ligands(3Cn-ehnom、2Cn-ehnom、 1Cn-ehnom, n=16,14,12)were discovered by polarized optical microscope(POM), differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), and powder X-raydiffraction(PXRD) in variable temperature. The series of 2Cn-ehnom,and 1Cn-ehnom displayed smectic X phasem, but 3Cn-ehonm can not discover liquid crystal
    phase.
