    Abstract: 本實驗室過去研究並發表以2, 5-噻吩為主體架構的分子具有可用做光電材料的物理與化學性質。所以我們延續過去之研究成果且發展一系列以2, 2’-聯噻吩為核心架構和在5, 5’-位置上做化學修飾的新型分子,並測量這些分子的物理及化學性質。
    另一研究課題,本實驗室過去成功合成一系列帶有硫醇官能基之有機分子,能藉由硫醇在金屬金上進行共價鍵反應形成自我組裝單層膜(Self-Assembled Monolayer,SAM),保留的末端官能基進行化學修飾後可吸附或反應結合特定的生物分子,此特性現今廣泛應用於生物感測器(Bio-Sensor)的研發。
    在本論文中,第一部分將雜環芳香族分子製備成雜環芳香族硼化合物,利用鈀金屬催化Suzuki 耦合反應合成新型多環有機光電材料。另一部分,利用有機合成方式,在2, 2’ -聯噻吩的5, 5’ -位置上進行化學修飾,得到一系列可用於生物感測器的硫醇官能基分子。
    Our laboratory has developed and reported a series of thiophene-based compounds which may employed as electro-optical material. Thus, we are further investigating these bithiophene-cored molecules by chemical modification, and understanding the effectiveness of substituted functionalities.
    To expand the scope of this research, we designed and synthesized some new organic materials with thiol group. These thiol compounds can generate the Self-Assembled Monolayer (SAM) by a spontaneously chemical reaction on the metal gold surface. This property and application was widely studied in Bio-Sensor research field.
