摘要:	本研究主要目的是利用潛在類別分析法(Latent Class Analysis)，探討個體潛在風險類別對於其私人健康保險購買行為與住院支出的影響。本計畫先以「國民健康訪查」所提供的資料，找出與風險相關的問題，採用潛在類別分析法以區分樣本的潛在風險類別。然後以羅吉特模型(Logit Regression)去探討個體潛在風險類別與是否購買私人健康保險之間的關係。接著利用托比特模型(Tobit Regression)探討個體潛在風險類別與購買保險金額之間的關係。最後本計畫使用「全民健康保險資料庫」的樣本資料，利用二部模型(Two-Part Model)，進一步分析個體的潛在風險類別對於購買私人健康保險的行為與住院支出之間的關係。期望本計畫結果可以更清楚了解個體的風險態度如何影響保險需求與醫療使用的行為，進一步提供政府制定醫療政策時的參考，以便在高齡社會下建構更合宜的醫療體系。 The purpose of this project is to investigate the relationship between private health insurance and inpatient service utilization based on latent class analysis (LCA). Firstly, by using latent class analysis, we find relevant questions relating to participant's risk attitude in National Health Interview Survey (NHIS) as risky-factor proxies to divide our samples into different latent risk class groups. Then, we use logit and tobit regression to investigate the relationship between behavior for purchasing private health insurance and latent risk class groups. Finally, by using Taiwan National Health Insurance Research Database (NHIRD), we utilize two part model to further examine the relationship among latent risk class groups, private health insurance and subsequent inpatient utilization. Our project's results may provide some implications and inspirations relating to how individuals decide their insurance demand and health care demand based on their risk attitude.
