Abstract:	為改善同向擦撞與開車門事故，本研究以工程角度切入，觀察目前機車騎士於都市地區超越前車與通過路側停車時所保持的可接受側向間隔，並提出同向擦撞事故與開車門事故發生主因為未訂定車道寬度上限與離路側停車過近，希望車道寬上限設計可納入可接受側向間隔、設計車種尺寸與單側安全間隔，車道與路側停車距離可考慮路側停車類型與可接受側向間隔。分析結果顯示，機車於不同情況下保持的可接受側向間隔亦不相同，因此提出不同車道類型相對應的寬度範圍與路側停車距離，並選擇台北與新北市機車道5年事故資料作為驗證對象後，發現於建議範圍內之路段事故率確實較低，因此希望未來於車道寬上限與車道距路側停車距離設計能參考研究建議，以降低同向擦撞與開車門事故。
