<description>title: Linking CSR image and employee well-being in professional sport organisations: Assessing the mediating role of sport employee identification and moderating role of co-production. abstract: This study examines how employees’ perceptions of their professional team sport organisation’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) image influence their well-being. Drawing on social identity theory and service-dominant logic, it further investigates the mediating role of sport employee identification and the moderating role of co-production. Survey data from 217 full-time employees across 17 league-based professional team sport organisations in Taiwan were analysed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). Findings reveal that CSR image positively affects employee well-being both directly and indirectly via sport employee identification. Moreover, co-production significantly strengthens the link between CSR image and identification, but not the direct CSR–well-being pathway. These results underscore the value of CSR as a tool to enhance sport employee identification and well-being. Organisations are encouraged to actively involve employees in CSR initiatives to foster deeper organisational connection and promote a more engaged and healthier workforce.

      <title>基於多模型深度學習架構之網路社群發文情緒分析</title>
      <link>https://tkuir.lib.tku.edu.tw/dspace/handle/987654321/128562</link>

<description>title: Body-mind harmony in Taekwondo: Mindfulness as a moderator in enhancing physical literacy, self-efficacy, and learning outcomes abstract: This study examined the moderating role of mindfulness in the relationships between physical literacy, self-efficacy, and learning outcomes in university-level Taekwondo physical education. A total of 282 students completed an 18-week intervention using five mindfulness strategies: breath awareness, body scan, skill visualization, mindful movement, and self-directed practice. Using PLS-SEM and t-tests, physical literacy significantly predicted self-efficacy (β = 0.651, p &lt; .001) and learning outcomes (β = 0.717, p &lt; .001), with mindfulness significantly moderating both paths. The intervention group outperformed the control group across all post-test measures. Findings support integrating mindfulness-based pedagogy to enhance confidence, skill acquisition, and academic achievement in physical education, with broader implications for holistic development in higher education.

      <link>https://tkuir.lib.tku.edu.tw/dspace/handle/987654321/128392</link>
<description>title: Big data meets sustainable marketing: A new integrated curriculum for hospitality education abstract: This study presents a novel educational intervention, the Sustainable Marketing with Big Data (SMBD) module, grounded in the theory of change. The SMBD module integrated data literacy, sustainability knowledge, and marketing skills through problem-based learning, creative problem solving, computer-based learning, and project-based pedagogical approaches. Employing a mixed-methods research design, this investigation evaluated the effectiveness of the proposed SMBD curriculum through a quasiexperimental design and compared learning outcomes between an experimental group (n = 44) and a control group (n = 39) taught with traditional methods. Pre- and posttests were used to assess students' data literacy, sustainability attitudes and behaviors, and marketing competency. ANCOVA revealed that the experimental group exhibited significantly greater improvements across all dimensions than did the control group. Regression analysis confirmed the positive influence of gains in big data literacy and sustainability knowledge on marketing skill demonstration. Qualitative analysis of focus group data provided further insights into students' learning experiences and engagement with the SMBD curriculum. The results support the efficacy of the theory of change framework and active learning pedagogies in enhancing undergraduate hospitality students' competencies in three critical domains. The SMBD model offers educators a comprehensive, empirically validated curriculum for preparing future hospitality leaders to leverage big data for sustainable marketing in a rapidly evolving industry.

      <link>https://tkuir.lib.tku.edu.tw/dspace/handle/987654321/128391</link>
<description>title: Role of social media influencers on marketing of sustainable hotels: gratification and the parasocial interaction perspective. abstract: Based on the concepts of gratification and parasocial interaction (PSI), we explore the effect of social media influencers on consumer behaviors in the marketing of sustainable hotels on Instagram (IG). We derive insights from 792 valid responses of consumers residing in the U.S. and analyze their behaviors and perceptions as related to both sustainable hotels and the leveraging of Instagram as a marketing tool. Through structural equation modeling, the findings of this study show that gratification increases consumer community commitment to IG through PSI. Moreover, PSIs positively influence consumer behaviors, such as booking intention, word of mouth (WOM) and electronic word of mouth (eWOM), through IG community commitment. Finally, the expertise of social media influencers strengthens consumer commitment to the IG community. The trustworthiness of social media influencers also strengthens consumer booking intentions.

<title>Robot anthropomorphism at luxury hotels: a dual-congruity mechanism with luxury and task under anxiety</title>
      <link>https://tkuir.lib.tku.edu.tw/dspace/handle/987654321/128390</link>
<description>title: Robot anthropomorphism at luxury hotels: a dual-congruity mechanism with luxury and task under anxiety abstract: Although service robots have been extensively studied recently, few empirical investigations have focused on the luxury setting. Targeting the setting of luxury hotels, in this study, expectation-confirmation theory and dual-congruity theory are combined to examine the impact of robot anthropomorphism on consumers’ expectations of service robots. The findings obtained from a sample of 556 respondents indicated that robot anthropomorphism increased consumers’ perceived social capability, performance expectancy, and perceived importance. Furthermore, luxury-technology fit and task-technology fit mediated the effects of social capability, performance expectancy, and perceived importance on the intention to use robotic services. Furthermore, the moderating role of anxiety toward robots in strengthening the effect of luxury-technology fit on the intention to use robotic services was revealed. The findings contribute to an enhanced understanding of consumer psychology in the context of advanced service technologies, offering valuable insights for the strategic implementation of service robots at luxury hotels.

<description>title: Employees as Early Adopters of Robotic Technology: A Self-Identity Approach with Service Improvisation-Generated Outcomes. abstract: This research uses a self-identity approach to explore how employees’ self-identity regarding robotic technology influences performance expectancy and effort expectancy, subsequently shaping their willingness to be early adopters. Additionally, the study examines the moderating roles of top management support and personal innovativeness. Data were collected through a survey of 588 full-time employees from three- to five-star hotels in Taiwan that had implemented service robots for at least 6 months. The results revealed that performance expectancy and effort expectancy mediated the relationship between self-identity and adoption willingness. Top management support strengthened the positive relationship between effort expectancy and adoption willingness, whereas personal innovativeness moderated the link between adoption willingness and service improvisation. The findings highlight that the willingness to adopt robotic technology enhances service improvisation, thereby improving service recovery performance.

      <link>https://tkuir.lib.tku.edu.tw/dspace/handle/987654321/128382</link>

<description>title: Why do people continue to play mobile game apps? A perspective of individual motivation, social factor and gaming factor abstract: This study attempts to identify the possible decisive factors of continuance intention and proposes a research model to predict the intention to continue playing mobile game apps based on the motivation theory and TAM framework. 377 valid respondents were collected by conducting an online survey and Partial Least Square (PLS) technique was applied to test our research model. The statistical results indicate that perceived playfulness (intrinsic motivation), perceived convenience (extrinsic motivation), social influence (social factor) and flow experience (gaming factor) are the significant determinants of continuance intention. Among these determinants, the flow experience is the most significant factor and the second one is intrinsic perceived playfulness. Perceived ease of use, does not affect continuance intention directly, but indirectly through perceived convenience and perceived playfulness.

<title>Do you love traveling to the beach or mountain? Predicting personality traits and choice behaviour</title>
      <link>https://tkuir.lib.tku.edu.tw/dspace/handle/987654321/128365</link>
<description>title: Do you love traveling to the beach or mountain? Predicting personality traits and choice behaviour abstract: Several personality-predicting tools are being used by managers in their strategic decision-making process. The most common are the Big Five model and the Myers – Myers-Briggs Type Indicator model, respectively. This study deviates and tests a novel personality prediction model. Specifically, it utilizes the TF-IDF (Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency) algorithm as a feature extraction method to map personality traits based on consumers’ textual data from the Kaggle MBTI Personality Type dataset. This study uses realistic data gathered from traveller reviews and comments on hotel stays from TripAdvisor’s widely recognised platform to predict different personality traits and their travel destination preferences, i.e. beach or mountain. The contribution of this study lies in the identification of multiple dimensions of peoples’ personality traits and their relationship with their preferences for travel locations. This proposed trait classification mechanism can assist marketing managers in effectively carrying out customer segmentation, setting realistic goals, and optimizing marketing strategies.

      <link>https://tkuir.lib.tku.edu.tw/dspace/handle/987654321/128363</link>
<description>title: Empowering Large Language Models to Leverage Domain-Specific Knowledge in E-Learning abstract: Large language models (LLMs) have demonstrated remarkable capabilities in various natural language processing tasks. However, their performance in domain-specific contexts, such as E-learning, is hindered by the lack of specific domain knowledge. This paper adopts a novel approach of retrieval augment generation to empower LLMs with domain-specific knowledge in the field of E-learning. The approach leverages external knowledge sources, such as E-learning lectures or research papers, to enhance the LLM’s understanding and generation capabilities. <description>title: From innovation to action: How esports fans convert innovativeness into merchandise consumption. abstract: This study examines the impact of esports fans’ innovativeness on licensed merchandise consumption, with fan knowledge as a mediating mechanism and psychological connection as a moderating factor. Grounded in innovation diffusion theory and the psychological continuum model, cross-sectional data from 466 active esports fans were analyzed using partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that fan innovativeness significantly predicts merchandise consumption, which is primarily mediated through knowledge about fans and knowledge for fans, whereas no significant mediation is found in knowledge from fans. Importantly, psychological connection negatively moderates these relationships such that higher emotional attachment dampens the effects of innovativeness on knowledge from fans, knowledge about fans, knowledge for fans, and purchase behavior. These findings highlight the complex interplay between emotional loyalty and cognitive openness, which suggests that strong psychological bonds may inhibit novelty-seeking behavior despite high levels of innovativeness. This study contributes to the esports marketing literature by extending sport fan behavior models to digital fandom contexts and offering strategic insights for managing emotionally engaged yet innovation-sensitive fan segments.

<title>Utilizing Genetic Algorithms in Conjunction with ANN-Based Stock Valuation Models to Enhance the Optimization of Stock Investment Decisions</title>
      <link>https://tkuir.lib.tku.edu.tw/dspace/handle/987654321/128344</link>
<description>title: Utilizing Genetic Algorithms in Conjunction with ANN-Based Stock Valuation Models to Enhance the Optimization of Stock Investment Decisions abstract: Navigating the stock market’s unpredictability and reducing vulnerability to its volatility requires well-informed decisions on stock selection, capital allocation, and transaction timing. While stock selection can be accomplished through fundamental analysis, the extensive data involved often pose challenges in discerning pertinent information. Timing, typically managed through technical analysis, may experience delays, leading to missed opportunities for stock transactions. Capital allocation, a quintessential resource optimization dilemma, necessitates meticulous planning for resolution. Consequently, this thesis leverages the optimization attributes of genetic algorithms, in conjunction with fundamental analysis and the concept of combination with repetition optimization, to identify appropriate stock selection and capital allocation strategies. Regarding timing, it employs deep learning coupled with the Ohlson model for stock valuation to ascertain the intrinsic worth of stocks. This lays the groundwork for transactions to yield favorable returns. In terms of experimentation, this study juxtaposes the integrated analytical approach of this thesis with the equal capital allocation strategy, TAIEX, and the Taiwan 50 index. The findings affirm that irrespective of the Taiwan stock market’s bullish or bearish tendencies, the method proposed in this study indeed facilitates investors in making astute investment decisions and attaining substantial profits.

      <link>https://tkuir.lib.tku.edu.tw/dspace/handle/987654321/128245</link>
<description>title: Exploring the impact of digital innovativeness on esports fan identification and engagement: An integrated framework of innovation diffusion theory and the psychological continuum model abstract: This study investigates the impact of digital innovativeness on esports fan identification and engagement by integrating innovation diffusion theory and the psychological continuum model (PCM). Drawing on survey data from 347 Taiwanese esports fans, we employed partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to test the proposed relationships. Results indicate that digital innovativeness significantly enhances value co-creation experiences, fan knowledge, and fan identification. Among these, fan identification is the strongest predictor of engagement behaviors. Value co-creation experiences do not directly lead to engagement, but mediate through identification. The effect of innovativeness on identification is more pronounced in the early PCM stages (awareness and attraction) than in later stages (attachment and allegiance). These findings contribute to esports marketing literature by clarifying the causal pathways between digital innovativeness and fan engagement, and by emphasizing the strategic value of targeting early-stage fans through innovative approaches to strengthen identification and cultivate enduring digital fandom.

      <link>https://tkuir.lib.tku.edu.tw/dspace/handle/987654321/128141</link>
<description>title: Hybrid Particle Swarm Optimization Bacterial Foraging control an agricultural Quadcopter. abstract: This article proposes a hybrid algorithm that combines Bacterial Foraging (BF) and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to optimize the control parameters: Integral (I) controller plus Fuzzy-like Proportional and Derivative (Fuzzy-like PD) as the Fuzzy Scaling Factors (FSF) of the Fuzzy controller. The fitness function integral of time multiplied absolute error (ITAE) was utilized as a minima criterion to assess the control design effectiveness. The proposed controller is then applied to pilot a UAV Quadcopter model for usage in a variety of agricultural applications, including field observation, crop health monitoring, pesticide spraying, disease detection, etc. The numerical simulations perform the validity of the fast responses, stable and reliable without error.

<title>The role of self-construal and team identification in shaping sports fans' engagement with CSR initiatives: A multigroup analysis.</title>
      <link>https://tkuir.lib.tku.edu.tw/dspace/handle/987654321/127861</link>
<description>title: The role of self-construal and team identification in shaping sports fans' engagement with CSR initiatives: A multigroup analysis. abstract: This study investigates how perceived corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiatives influence sports fans’ engagement, through the mediating roles of electronic word-of-mouth and value co-creation behaviours, and team identification. The model further examines the moderating roles of self-construal (interdependent or independent) of these relationships. By integrating these factors, the study addresses how psychological mechanisms shape fan engagement with CSR initiatives. Data was collected from an online survey of 386 sports fans recruited from social media. Partial least squares structural equation modelling and multigroup analysis were used to assess differences between fan groups. The findings reveal that team identification mediates the relationship between perceived CSR interactivity and both electronic word-of-mouth and value co-creation behaviours. Value co-creation behaviours serve as a mediator between perceived CSR interactivity and both quality of life and watching intention. Interdependent fans were more strongly influenced by perceived CSR interactivity in shaping their electronic word-of-mouth behaviours, whereas independent fans showed a stronger influence of team identification on electronic word-of-mouth. This research contributes to practice by highlighting the importance of customised CSR strategies based on fans' psychological profiles. By understanding differences between interdependent and independent fans, sports organisations can enhance brand loyalty and engagement. The study also offers theoretical contributions on the mediating roles of team identification and value co-creation behaviours in CSR engagement, with recommendations for future research across diverse cultural and sports contexts.

<description>title: Meaningful Mobile Learning Framework to Improve Learning Performance of Natural Science Students abstract: This study presents a framework for integrating meaningful learning into a mobile learning
context to enhance the learning achievement of natural science students through the utilization
of advanced technologies and outdoor learning. An experiment was conducted on
elementary school students to examine the effect of an Augmented Reality-based
Meaningful Mobile Learning System (ARMMLS) on enhancing students’ botanical learning
ability. The ARMMLS incorporated key features such as 3D augmented reality (AR) visualizations
of aquatic plants, enabling students to explore plant structures in depth.
Additionally, outdoor learning activities facilitated real-world plant identification and collaborative
group work through interactive matching exercises. Following the system’s implementation,
a usability survey assessed students’ perceptions of the mobile application.
Results indicated that the experimental group, using ARMMLS, scored significantly higher
with an effect size of 0.73 in improving students’ botanical learning skills than the control
group. This study contributes to the mobile learning literature by identifying essential
usability evaluation features and an empirical model for meaningful mobile learning. The
findings provide valuable insights for future research and instructional practice design.

<title>How gaming team participation fosters consumers’ social networks, communication and commitment</title>
      <link>https://tkuir.lib.tku.edu.tw/dspace/handle/987654321/127563</link>
<description>title: How gaming team participation fosters consumers’ social networks, communication and commitment abstract: Online games are highly popular computer applications that generate enormous profits for companies that produce games. Online players actively participate and interact in gaming teams, but there is no study on how team participation leads to a commitment to gaming teams. Research that aims to fill this gap could elucidate practical solutions to strengthening the players' team commitment, contributing to the understanding of player behavior. Grounded in social capital theory and social exchange theory, in this paper a research model is developed, featuring an association between players' participation and players' team commitment. The data were gathered from 1352 online players, and structural equation modelling was employed as the data analysis technique. The results indicate that team participation is positively linked to network convergence and interdependence. They are, in turn, positively linked to social interaction and social presence, which significantly enhance the players' team commitment. We also find that, compared with social interaction, social presence has a stronger influence on such commitments. The research findings suggest that the game providers should encourage players to participate in gaming teams, thus strengthening the players’ team commitment.
