services, including bike-sharing (BSS) and electric moped-sharing systems (EMSS), have&#xD;
emerged as viable solutions to these issues by providing sustainable and flexible&#xD;
transportation options. However, these systems face significant operational challenges,&#xD;
including spatial and temporal imbalances in supply and demand, as well as suboptimal&#xD;
infrastructure placement. While existing research has explored the influence of built&#xD;
environment factors on shared micromobility usage, most studies rely on global models&#xD;
that assume spatially uniform relationships, often overlooking the impact of spatial&#xD;
heterogeneity. In addition, existing spatial optimization models for locating shared&#xD;
micromobility stations typically evaluate demand coverage based on individual stations,&#xD;
without considering the dual-node nature of user trips. This simplification may result in&#xD;
substantial overestimation of system performance. Moreover, for EMSS, existing research&#xD;
has primarily focused on placing battery swapping stations, with limited attention given to&#xD;
the integration of parking and battery-swapping functions. Such integration is crucial for&#xD;
enhancing both user experience and operational efficiency, yet it remains underexplored in&#xD;
existing research. This dissertation addresses these gaps through three empirical studies on&#xD;
BSS and EMSS in Taipei. The first study examines the impact of built environments on&#xD;
shared micromobility usage using the Multiscale Geographically Weighted Regression&#xD;
model to capture spatial heterogeneity. The second study develops the Flow Termini&#xD;
Coverage Model (FTCM), incorporating origin-destination flow dynamics to improve the&#xD;
siting of bike-sharing stations. By accounting for both trip ends, the FTCM offers a more accurate representation of travel behavior than conventional single-node coverage models.&#xD;
The third study introduces the concept of EMSS hubs, multifunctional facilities that&#xD;
integrate moped rental, return, and battery-swapping, and proposes the EMSS Hub&#xD;
Location Problem (EHLP) model to support strategic hub placement. The EHLP provides&#xD;
a comprehensive framework for EMSS infrastructure planning by incorporating three types&#xD;
of demands. Collectively, these studies advance the shared micromobility field by&#xD;
developing novel spatial analytical methods and optimization models. The findings offer&#xD;
important implications for policy and practice, demonstrating how advanced spatial&#xD;
methods can support more effective and sustainable shared micromobility planning.

To ensure ample parking space, carriers have implemented a close proximity parking strategy for aircraft, ensuring efficient use of available space. When multiple aircraft can park in a single space, inadequate planning may lead to various blockages. This not only raises airline costs but also reduces the operational efficiency of the airport. At present, the problem of assigning airplanes to airplanes in such a close proximity parking situation is planned manually, which is inefficient and may not be the optimal solution for the system. In this study, we employed time-space network flow techniques and mathematical programming to develop an optimal stand assignment model from the perspective of a planner. Then, based on the real flight data of Taoyuan International Airport, we conducted a case study and different scenarios. The results show that the proposed model is an effective auxiliary tool to assist the planners in optimizing the aircraft stand assignments under a close proximity parking strategy.

      <description>title: Optimal recovery aircraft assignment model for aircraft grounding of a certain aircraft type abstract: This study adopted a system optimization approach to establish a recovery aircraft allocation model to minimize flight delays. A recovery aircraft assignment model was developed that combined network flow technology and mathematical programming methods. To validate the model, tests were conducted by grounding different aircraft types using operational data from a Taiwan airline. The results show that the proposed model efficiently solves and can obtain the optimal solution within one minute. Furthermore, the tests show that a greater proportion of grounded aircraft types may disable more flights and cause delays. Various flight delay strategies were used for the sensitivity analyses. The results show that when the allowable delay time increases, the number of flights that cannot be implemented decreases. However, this decrease does not continue indefinitely after a certain allowable delay time. A similar trend is observed in the total delay time. In conclusion, the proposed model can serve as a planning assistance tool for aircraft reassignment to provide decision-makers with an essential reference.

      <description>title: 以場景為基礎之自駕巴士安全評估研究-以淡海智駕巴士為例 abstract: 近年來，國際間希望藉由感知技術、AI演算法…應用發展自動駕駛，並透過V2X車聯網通訊技術，藉以降低人為疏失之交通事故發生機率。我國以自駕巴士為自駕技術之發展目標，「安全」為測試發展關鍵目標，因此本研究先彙整國際自動駕駛系統安全性規範，並建構自駕系統安全性評估架構，然後藉由修正式德爾菲藉專家知識與經驗確立評估架構。本研究進一步設計自駕巴士行駛安全性風險評估問卷，並以「新北巿淡海智駕電動巴士環線多車服務測試運行計畫」為實證分析對象，建立「變換車道」、「路口左轉彎」、「行經行人穿越道」三項場景，在自駕系統安全性評估架構下探討自駕巴士於不同場景下影響行駛之安全性因素。本研究基於「行駛環境」、「系統安全」、「V2X車聯網安全」、「駕駛員接管狀態」四大構面下16項風險因素，並以ISO 26262規範之車輛安全完整性等級（Automotive Safety Integrity Level ,ASIL）之「嚴重度」、「暴露」、「可控性」作為風險評估指標，借助自駕系統與智慧運輸專家之知識與經驗予以評估而找出影響各場景之關鍵安全風險因素。
本研究先以熵權法進行風險評估指標之權重計算，再以TOPSIS進行各場景風險因素排序，結果得出三場景之中「駕駛員接管狀態」、「行駛環境」為關鍵影響構面，「駕駛員接管狀態」下之關鍵風險因素為「駕駛經驗少」、「HMI傳遞訊息延遲」、「車流密度高」，「行駛環境」中「雨天影響感測」、「光線影響感測」為關鍵因素，因此評估自駕巴士行駛安全時，駕駛培訓與人機介面及環境評估為主要影響因素。

      <description>title: 永續運輸資訊系統發展策略之研究-加拿大卑詩省智慧型運輸系統策略規劃之介紹 abstract: 「永續發展」(Sustainable Development)是當前各國致力推動的方向，旨在追求經濟、環境與社會三者的永續均衡發展。由於運輸部門在經濟效益、環境衝擊以及社會公平上均可能產生負面效果，因此如何在環保與公平的基礎上，達成有效率與安全的「永續運輸」(Sustainable Transportation)已是一大課題。
　　本研究由「資訊系統」的角度切入「永續運輸」的發展策略，乃因運輸系統中無論管理者、經營者或使用者，皆需掌握正確即時的資訊作出優質的決策，來提昇系統營運或個人行旅的品質。再者，公部門更需掌握充足資訊以客觀了解交通服務水準的演變，以及評估運輸服務在效率、安全、公平與環保上的發展成效。如此，方能在擬定或檢討運輸願景與政策時有所依據，不致因首長去留或政黨輪替而影響施政建設的永續性。
　　智慧型運輸系統(Intelligent Transportation System, ITS) 即是以「永續運輸」為發展目標的一種「資訊系統」，整合運用了資訊、通訊、電子與自動化等技術，可提升運輸服務與基礎建設在營運面與使用面的安全與效率，並可降低耗能與污染，以及協助弱勢民眾與偏遠地區的交通，以利環保與社會公平的達成。因此，智慧型運輸系統的推行近年已在歐、美、亞先進國家受到重視，並視為發展永續運輸的有效方法。
　　例如，加拿大於1999年即提出國家級ITS構想，其目的即在促進加拿大交通系統的安全、效率、經濟性、整合性與環保性。簡言之，即追求運輸系統的永續性。而卑詩省(British Columbia，簡稱BC)是加國第一個投入發展ITS願景與策略規劃的省份，採取創新方法研定出符合該省運輸需求的ITS解決方案，並結合該省各類運輸的營運單位一起推動ITS，以利系統發展得以跨越功能面、地理面與管轄面的藩籬，其經驗極具參考價值。
　　目前加拿大卑詩省的ITS應用，在大眾運輸服務方面已頗具成效，相關資訊可於網站上(www.translink.bc.ca)查詢取用。而該省大溫哥華區98 B線公車捷運系統(98 B-line Bus Rapid Transit)則是一項具代表性的ITS成功案例，在大眾運輸管理、公車優先號誌與即時乘客服務資訊等方面，都發揮了智慧化的整合功能。經評估，98 B線公車捷運有23%的乘客以往是小汽車的使用者，由於受到公車捷運高品質的吸引而轉換運具，因此每年減少八百萬小汽車公里數，也降低了汽車廢氣排放量。
　加拿大卑詩省與臺灣在交通運輸方面有若干相似之處：其一，運輸路網皆是由市區道路、公路、大眾運輸、鐵路、機場與港埠等所構成；再者，近年首要的運輸課題皆為安全、壅塞與空氣污染。而該省推動ITS 採取了獨特組織架構與創新方法，也正是臺灣發展ITS邁向永續運輸可觀摩的對象。至於該省大溫哥華區98 B線公車捷運系統，對於臺灣發展大眾運輸以及因應京都議定書(Tokyo Agreement)推動環保的政策而言，則是極佳的研究案例。尤其針對臺灣高速鐵路通車後所需之高水準的接駁服務，公車捷運系統不失為一種符合經濟與效率的方案，大溫哥華區的發展實例正可提供寶貴經驗。
　　基於以上諸點考量，乃選定加拿大卑詩省為研究考察對象，並且將重點放在智慧型運輸系統發展策略的研究。而本書撰寫內容以「加拿大卑詩省ITS策略規劃」之介紹為主軸，先以第一章至第五章詳細敘述其課題、願景與策略規劃進行方式；再於第六章說明策略規劃所參考之加拿大ITS架構，並整理卑詩省對ITS永續發展的努力；以及於第七章詳述「大溫哥華區98 B線公車捷運計畫」，作為卑詩省發展ITS具體成果之說明。
　　希望透過這份研究報告所整理的文獻內容，可作為我國發展智慧型運輸系統擬定策略時的參考，以利達成永續運輸的目標。

The QoE model analysed 4,256 text reviews and 4,164 image reviews, categorised into intent sentiment, text content and image content. Classification models were developed for detailed opinion analysis. A case study focusing on New Taipei’s YouBike system highlights bike shortages as the most significant challenge, particularly at smaller stations. The QoS model identified bike shortages correlated with negative user perspectives in the QoE model, indicating a connection between objective operational data and subjective cyclist opinions. This QoS-QoE joint model provides an integrated approach to assessing service quality and riding experience for public bike operators and city transportation authorities.

      <description>title: 關聯規則探勘技術於物流配送編排問題之應用 abstract: 在物流作業中，配送計畫產製結果將直接影響物流公司之車輛調度效率、作業可行性、營運成本與整體供應鏈運作的穩定性。然而，目前多數業者仍高度依賴以人工方式進行規劃，雖在執行時較具有彈性，但在面對龐大且複雜之任務時，容易導致規劃效率低落，並進一步造成運能浪費與成本增加。隨著當前配送需求迅速攀升，現行作業模式之限制逐漸顯露。因此，為提升產製效率並減輕人工作業負擔，本研究以關聯規則學習為基礎，從物流公司歷史配送資料中萃取各項託運任務間起迄組合之潛在關聯，藉以建構一套可模擬人工經驗之配送計畫演算法，並結合地理相鄰性進行任務整併與空間最佳化。模型設計同時納入目標函數與工時、重量等實務常見限制，以提升任務規劃之可行性與合理性。研究以臺灣本島某物流業者之實務資料進行驗證，結果顯示所提出之模型可有效整合任務、提升經驗重現程度並考量工時配置與空駛情況；同時，藉由敏感度分析也確認了模型之穩定性與適用性。整體而言，本研究所提出之模型具備一定程度之實務應用潛力，能有效協助物流業者建立一套兼顧效率與經驗傳承之智慧配送決策機制。

      <description>title: 偏鄉地區導入幸福巴士前後公共運輸服務涵蓋率之評估分析—以五峰鄉和梨山地區為例 abstract: 目前偏鄉公共運輸績效多以交通部運輸研究所提出「站點半徑500公尺內涵蓋家戶數」作為主要指標，並未仔細納入時間面向因素與重要旅次吸引點（如學校、醫院等）涵蓋率，易導致指標適切性不足。此外，現行「需求反應式交通服務」（DRTS）係屬計畫型補貼，須滾動檢討營運效益，惟提案僅要求說明空間涵蓋率之運輸缺口與班次配置，亦易造成路線與班次規劃偏誤，影響幸福巴士等服務效能。有鑑於此，本研究旨在分析公共運輸站牌延伸服務範圍相對於家戶的空間涵蓋率、時段性空間涵蓋率，以及旅次吸引點之可及性與移動性。研究中使用用 QGIS 進行空間資料處理，並透過比較「幸福巴士行駛」與「未行駛」兩情境，評估DRTS於偏鄉地區之指標性效益。研究並以新竹縣五峰鄉與臺中市梨山地區為實證案例，結果顯示：五峰鄉在各指標表現上變化較為顯著，梨山地區則差異有限，顯示家戶分布與站牌設置對指標性效益具高度關聯，亦反映部分區域可採彈性排班方式，以提升偏鄉地區公共運輸服務之適配性。

The objective of the model is to minimise the system cost, which includes total weighted delay time and the total penalty for leftover ULDs. To test the model's efficiency and applicability, several problem instances of different scales are randomly generated based upon data from an airline in Taiwan. The sensitivity of results is analysed. The results show that as weight capacity increases, more ULDs can be assigned and average ULD delays increase. The approved ULD's quantity per flight increases, while the number of un-assigned ULD and average ULD delay time may decrease. Also, as the ULD weight increases, fewer ULDs can be assigned, and average ULD delay time may increase. The results show the usefulness of the proposed model for actual operations.

In this study, we apply mathematical programming and network flow techniques to develop a model for determining the optimal locations of battery exchange and charging stations for electric scooters, while accounting for stochastic user dwell times in leisure areas. The proposed stochastic model, designed to address a location-scheduling problem, is formulated as a mixed-integer network flow problem with side constraints. We develop a simulation-based evaluation method and conduct computational tests to assess the model’s performance. Computational tests using real data from a city in Taiwan show that the stochastic model outperforms the deterministic model and has significant potential for practical applications.

      <description>title: 都市大眾捷運營運機構數位轉型成熟度評估模型之研究 abstract: 交通部在2020運輸政策白皮書中提及有關智慧運輸政策相關規劃，說明我國未來交通運輸之政策目標為結合雲端運算、資通訊技術、物聯網科技、大數據分析、數位匯流、人工智慧等新興科技之數位轉型，冀望改善交通意外事故與壅塞，而建立智慧交通環境。因此數位轉型成熟度之相關研究遂成為近年來熱門研究課題之一。運輸領域中已出現航空公司數位化能力之研究文獻，然而，軌道運輸相關領域之數位轉型研究尚在起步階段，亦是本研究之研究動機所在。 多數研究使用多評準決策結合績效評估方法來建立評估架構，傳統使用之AHP方法常面臨填答費時、結果一致性不高、備選方案無法排序與無法選取最佳方案等問題，因此本研究結合BWM與Modified VIKOR之研究方法，以臺北捷運、桃園捷運作為實證對象。首先經過數位轉型相關文獻彙整評估準則，提出捷運數位轉型成熟度之評估架構，再由修正式德爾菲法確立各項準則指標，最終藉由BWM與Modified VIKOR方法計算出指標權重以及營運機構數位轉型績效表現。 研究結果顯示「數位營運資訊平臺」為最重要構面，以反映捷運營運機構在發展數位轉型時，應優先以基礎設施建置為主，權重前三高之評估準則為「發展數位轉型專責單位」、「數位化資源投入與整合」、「數位資通訊基礎設施」。總體而言，臺北捷運之數位轉型成熟度領先於桃園捷運，兩機構都應當針對「數位企業組織創新及整合能力」、「員工數位化教育及培訓」、「發展數位轉型專責單位」、「數位化資源投入與整合」、「旅客旅運服務資訊平臺」、「營運緊急應變與復原能力」、「數位平臺的資料來源與輸出」、「數據資料安全擷取與風險評估管理」、「數據品質監督」、「行中車站/列車資通訊多元顧客服務」進行改善。本研究成果可供我國各捷運營運機構作為改善提升都市大眾捷運營運機構數位轉型成熟度之參考，以提昇服務水準及管理效率。

      <description>title: 人為因素分析與分類系統應用於臺鐵事故分析之研究 abstract: 國營臺灣鐵路股份有限公司（以下簡稱臺鐵）每年發生至少500件事故，且大多數造成事故的原因為人為因素，事故是由系統中一連串的問題所導致，當多個問題同時出現時就會發生嚴重事故，所以分析事故之觀點應由第一線人員之觀點提昇至系統之觀點，方能深入思考整個組織潛在肇因，故本研究首先將探討造成臺鐵重大行車事故之原因，找出組織對於第一線人員之影響，接著探討如何減少組織對於人員衝擊之改善方案。 本研究總共分為五個階段，第一階段首先分析運安會事故報告，發現造成臺鐵重大行車事故的原因為人員與管理層面；第二階段分析人員與管理層面之關聯，以人為因素分析與分類系統(HFACS)之為基礎，使用決策實驗室分析法結合詮釋結構模式（DEMATEL-ISM），得出組織文化與監管單位是影響事故之根源；第三階段為改善組織文化與監管單位，須建立健全與完善的通報機制，強化事故預防的安全管理，故須推動安全管理系統（Safety System Management, SMS），方能提昇鐵路運輸之安全水準，故本研究第三階段首先使用修正式德爾菲法(Modified Delphi Method)，整理安全管理系統之構面與影響因素；第四階段使用第三階段之構面與影響因素，使用決策實驗室分析（DEMATEL）排序重要程度。研究結果發現最重要的構面是規劃，此構面下重要的影響因素為安全目標與政策、重視安全的單位文化、風險評估與管理；第二重要的構面為組織與未來發展，此構面下較重要的影響因素為鐵路相關的法律、智慧鐵道相關系統；第三重要的構面為行動，此構面下較重要的因素有文件管理系統、事故事件調查與改善。 最後經由專家評估在資源有限下，各構面下之因素長期短期可行性，結果得知：在規劃構面，短期可改善的因素有安全目標與政策、風險評估與管理、安全管理系統教育訓練與資源；在執行構面，短期可改善的因素有緊急事故與防災應變、組織訊息傳達與溝通、風險衡量與管理；在查核構面，內部審查與評估、風險評估與通報系統兩因素皆為短期可改善之因素；在行動構面，短期可改善的因素是文件管理系統；在組織與未來發展構面，智慧鐵道是長期與短期皆須發展的項目，智慧鐵道是臺鐵目前準備推動之項目，故智慧鐵道將是短期長期發展之重點，投入較多資源導入智慧鐵道的同時，亦應投入相對的資源教育組織內部成員如何使用智慧鐵道與其目的，方能減少成員對於智慧鐵道認知差異。鐵路相關法律、組織協調與改善建議則為長期改善因素。

      <description>title: 先進環保車輛購買決策之研究-以台北市計程車業者為例 abstract: 先進環保車輛(advanced clean vehicles)的使用具有降低車輛燃油依存度與減少都市溫室氣體排放的效果，在眾多不同技術車輛中，選購對營業利潤最有利的車款，為公路運輸業者的首要目標。本研究使用實質選擇權理論(real option approach, ROA)來做車輛的購買評價，詳細考慮車輛營運的收入面與成本面變數，納入電動車的充電與搜尋(充電站)問題對營業的影響，並量化市場環境與政府政策因素的不確定性；此外，以投資組合理論(portfolio theory)來做業者多車輛的最適車種持有比例，解決業者整體營收與油價敏感度過高的情形；再者，以台北市計程車業者為範例分析對象，研究計程車電動化對台灣溫室氣體減量的情形。由結果顯示，油電混合車在目前市場條件下，即使政府不施行任何補助，也已經和汽油車具有競爭優勢，未來油價高漲或課徵碳稅後更是有利；電動車部分，目前條件會對業者造成虧損，若要促進業者選購電動車，收入面的提升相對於成本面的降低有較顯著的功效，亦顯示電動車最佳購買時點在電池成本介於570 到590 時。減碳部分，油電混合車功效雖然沒有電動車好，但短期推動較易，可做為政府近期推動目標，此外，若要使用電動車達成零排放，要配合乾淨能源發電，不然會造成反效果，排放更多CO2。投資組合部分，驗證結果可得出在相同利潤下整體風險較低的車種持有比例，幫助業者事先調整營運車輛的組成，因應未來燃料價格的波動。

      <description>title: 美食外送平台依時擁擠費之訂定 abstract: 隨著美食外送平台興起，外送平台使用率逐年上升，當尖峰時段時，訂單過多造成外送員無法負荷訂單數量，進一步造成消費者訂餐等候時間增加。本研究對尖峰時段訂餐消費者收取依時擁擠費，有效移轉尖峰時段訂單數量、提高非尖峰時段訂餐使用率。此外，利用最適控制理論探討尖峰時段與非尖峰時段訂餐之均衡成本，其目的是讓兩段時間之均衡成本達成均衡。
本研究目標函數為外送平台成本最小，並考量兩時段訂餐人數、外送員數量、以及尖峰時段消費者異質特性，而消費者異質特性必須考慮時間價值。模式中所有變數皆為時間之函數，因此以最適控制理論分析本研究動態問題，而不需使用複雜之成本函數之間的關係；此外，本研究將時間與兩時段訂餐人數視為縱軸以及橫軸，但亦有可能因尖峰時段訂餐人數過多而使系統均衡成本增加，而進一步對尖峰時段消費者收取動態依時擁擠費，舒緩尖峰時段訂餐數量而轉移至非尖峰時段，最終兩時段訂餐之成本將達成均衡。
本研究利用Mathematica求算尖峰時段擁擠費；考慮願付價格以及訂餐之服務費可推導尖峰時段之動態依時擁擠費。綜合上述，固可提供美食外送平台研擬動態依時擁擠費之參考，藉此讓兩訂餐時段訂餐成本達致均衡。範例分析結果顯示當時間價值α=1.4可知越接近第60分鐘時，擁擠費越高，部分尖峰時段消費者願意負擔較高擁擠費，而不願意負擔擁擠費之消費者將轉移至非尖峰時段訂餐；而當尖峰時段與非尖峰時段訂單差距較小時可得知因過多訂單轉移至非尖峰時段，導致於非尖峰時段訂單過多而使訂單等候時間隨之增加，最終導致擁擠費隨之升高。

For medium and long trips, electric motorcycles are promoted as green feeder modes to mass rapid transit stations.

The app and supporting measures propose a mechanism to alleviate traffic congestion in Taipei's science park corridor.

To validate the model, tests were conducted by grounding different aircraft types using operational data from a Taiwan airline. The results show that the proposed model efficiently solves and can obtain the optimal solution within one minute. Furthermore, the tests show that a greater proportion of grounded aircraft types may disable more flights and cause delays. Various flight delay strategies were used for the sensitivity analyses. The results show that when the allowable delay time increases, the number of flights that cannot be implemented decreases. However, this decrease does not continue indefinitely after a certain allowable delay time. A similar trend is observed in the total delay time. In conclusion, the proposed model can serve as a planning assistance tool for aircraft reassignment to provide decision-makers with an essential reference.

In this study, we employed time-space network flow techniques and mathematical programming to develop an optimal stand assignment model from the perspective of a planner. Then, based on the real flight data of Taoyuan International Airport, we conducted a case study and different scenarios. The results show that the proposed model is an effective auxiliary tool to assist the planners in optimizing the aircraft stand assignments under a close proximity parking strategy.

However, the promotion of green transportation fails easily without considering mobility. This dissertation focuses on green transportation in urban multimodal networks. Various transport modes are usually involved and trips can be accomplished with more than one pattern. The first part of this dissertation develops a green index to evaluate the sustainability of different paths of origin-destination (OD) pairs in urban transportation networks. The study proposes a new idea to increase the accessibility of MRT stations in Taipei City by using convenience stores as transfer points. Convenience stores are densely distributed in Taipei City, and connect activity and transportation networks. They are important delivery points in Taipei. Furthermore, this dissertation proposes green feeder alternatives to carry travelers from convenience stores to MRT stations. A Monte Carlo simulation of thousands of OD pairs in Taipei City is conducted to examine proposed strategies. The second part of this dissertation applies small-world theory to investigate the proposed networks, which are current multimodal networks incorporating green transfer nodes. The green transportation connectivity efficiency and mobility in global and local scales are explored.&#xD;
A series of case studies in Taipei City are performed to demonstrate the applications of this dissertation. The results indicate that for short trips, commuters can directly use electric motorcycles by renting and returning those at convenience stores of origins and destinations. For medium and long trips, commuters can take green transport modes at convenience stores to access MRT stations. Electric motorcycles are effective green feeder modes, and electric feeder buses can be an alternative of green feeder modes for long trips. The results also show that the global mobility and local mobility of the proposed networks are more than 55%. It implies that travelers can travel from any district to any other districts with green transportation in a rather efficient way. In addition, the results show that Wan-hua is the district where the first trial of incorporating convenience stores in transportation networks should be conducted. In the proposed network, the local mobility of Wan-hua and Xin-yi districts is more than 66%, which indicates that travelers in Wan-hua and Xin-yi districts can reach any important destinations more efficiently than those in other districts.

But whether and how immigrant women adjust their household-serving trip frequencies accordingly remains largely unknown. Utilizing data of adult male and female members in nuclear families from the 2017 National Household Travel Survey conducted in the United States and applying the negative binomial regression model, it is found that, all else holds constant, being a woman correlates with making more escorting and shopping trips, but being an immigrant does not. In other words, immigrant women escort others and go shopping as often as native-born women. However, it is also found that, all else being equal, spouses of immigrants make more escorting and shopping trips than spouses of natives, especially husbands of immigrant women. Taken together, these results suggest that although men with an immigrant wife take on more household-serving travel duties so that the within-household gender travel gap narrows, the household-serving travel burden on immigrant women is not lessened compared to that on native-born women. Therefore, while encouraging male participation in household labor is a common strategy to reduce women’s domestic load, assistance from outside the home should be provided in particular to immigrant women for alleviating their household-serving travel burden.

This study adopts mathematical programming with a network flow technique to develop an MRO stand allocation model. The effectiveness of the proposed model is evaluated in a case study performed using the data collected from a Taiwan aircraft MRO service provider. The results demonstrate that the proposed model could be a useful and practical planning support tool.

      <description>title: The Operation of the ITS Architecture - A Case Study of Public Bus Service in Taiwan abstract: The paper presents an analytic approach to generate the market packages for the operation via the intelligent transportation system (ITS) architecture. This analytic approach uses the concepts of the "use case diagram" and "sequence diagram" defined by the unified modeling language (UML). By following the steps, we take Taiwan's public bus service as an example and generate the market package effectually, public bus monitoring and public bus scheduling and dispatching, which is corresponding to the real world situation. We also point out the academic models in market packages that could be the patent products. Consequently, driving the establishment of ITS market package not only conduces to ITS development but also promotes the knowledge economic in our society.
