The main stages in the development of visual studies are analyzed, the differences between visual culture and screen culture are elucidated, and the typological characteristics of screen culture, as well as its influence on the transformation of communicative practices, cognitive models, and forms of social interaction in the context of the digitalization of culture, are identified.

title: Gemeinschaftsbildung unter den Deutschen in der „Musterkolonie Kiautschou“ und deren Auswirkungen auf die lokale Kultur abstract: The paper analyzes the emergence and development of the German community in the Kiautschou colony (1898–1914) and its lasting impact on the region. At the center of the talk is the question of how the Germans built an independent community by establishing modern infrastructure, constructing administrative buildings and residential quarters in the German style, and founding schools, churches, and cultural associations. In this way, they created a “little Germany,” which—at least in German self-representation—was presented as a showcase model of German efficiency and organization. In the years leading up to the outbreak of the First World War, Kiautschou developed into the most important center of German culture and way of life in East Asia. Another focus of the presentation is the tension between the German community and the local Chinese population. German colonial rule brought profound changes, such as land expropriations, the introduction of new social hierarchies, and the establishment of German administrative structures. At the same time, economic and cultural interfaces emerged, particularly through the employment of Chinese workers and staff in German projects and administration. This resulted both in cultural exchange and in tensions and resistance. The presentation sheds light on how these interactions affected local society. Finally, the talk concludes with a look at the long-term legacy of the German colonial period and how its traces remain visible up to the present day.

title: Inteligencia artificial y enseñanza de E/LE: posibilidades del programa ChatGPT para la práctica de la expresión e interacción escritas abstract: El volumen temático "Interacción, discurso y tecnología en la enseñanza del español" es una compilación multidisciplinaria que aborda los desafíos y avances en la enseñanza del español como lengua extranjera, segunda lengua y lengua de herencia. Se organiza en tres ejes principales: la interacción en el aprendizaje, el discurso en la enseñanza y la integración de la tecnología. La interacción en el aprendizaje del español se destaca como fundamental para la adquisición lingüística. Se examinan competencias interaccionales, géneros dialogados y dinámicas de grupo innovadoras que fomentan una interacción efectiva, así como el papel del feedback interactivo y la evaluación en el desarrollo de la autonomía del estudiante. En cuanto al discurso en la enseñanza, se enfoca en aspectos léxicos, gramaticales y pragmáticos esenciales para el aprendizaje. Se analiza el impacto del discurso del docente en la formación del profesorado y la importancia de estudios críticos del discurso en los materiales didácticos. También se abordan el discurso oral y escrito, la multimodalidad y la diversidad lingüística. La tecnología y mediación tecnológica se presentan como elementos transformadores en la enseñanza del español. Se exploran plataformas de aprendizaje, entornos híbridos y virtuales, y herramientas lingüísticas digitales, incluyendo la inteligencia artificial para desarrollar destrezas lingüísticas. Se trata, por tanto, de una obra de referencia indispensable para educadores, investigadores y profesionales en la enseñanza del español en diversos contextos y niveles.

title: Jodorowsky, L'Incal et Dune: l'androgyne sacré et la malédiction ancestrale abstract: Alejandro Jodorowsky’s adaptation of the novel Dune by Frank Herbert never bore cinematic fruit, but it did lead to the inception of the saga The Incal in the 1980s. The creation of this graphic novel world — The Incal is also the title of the first volume in the series — fleshes out some elements already present in the science fiction novel. This article explores how Jodorowsky develops these aspects by exploring two themes, that of the androgynous god, whether manufactured or revealed, and that of the memory curse. This latter theme intersects with the Chilean-French writer’s work as the inventor of psychomagic, a form of therapy seeking to heal inherited trauma. The theme features prominently in another of his graphic novel series, The Metabarons. We will also examine how Jodorowsky took advantage of the possibilities offered by the graphic novel to illustrate our chosen themes by literalizing certain metaphors.

title: 法語初學者中介語現象之研究：以淡江大學法文系大二學生為例 abstract: 在外語教學中，找出並減少學習過程中的錯誤，一直是研究的核心課題，長久以來，學界均是採用「錯誤分析」來解決此問題。1972年美國學者Selinker提出了「中介語」（Interlanguage，又稱「中間語」）理論後，學界對「錯誤」的看法，進入一個新紀元。本論文即是在研究法語初學者的「中介語」（即「學習錯誤」），為此，筆者擬了一份問卷，內容分為二部份，第一部分是學生對「語言干擾」的看法，第二部份則是請學生使用中文文法不存在的法文文法「人稱代名詞」，將問卷的幾個中文句子譯成法語。研究結果顯示：（1）中介語的性質，遠較想像的更為複雜不穩定。單一次的分析錯誤其實並不具意義，因為持續學習會使錯誤的「種類」及「數目」一直在改變。（2）本研究也發現中介語的「未形成階段」（即「前中介語階段」），這個階段並非一定、但有可能在學習過程中出現。（3）在語言干擾方面，本研究顯示，中文對法語學習的干擾是在「文法」層面，至於字彙方面，第一外語（英語）對法語的干擾更多。以此推論，越接近的二個語言，發生的各種語言干擾應該會更多。

title: Análisis de los mecanismos de la lexicalización de la formación compuesta en español abstract: 本研究探討西文構詞成分的詞彙化現象，分析西語複合語素在詞彙化過程中的語法特徵。從詞彙化所依據的句法基礎進行結構性探究，我們發現，西文在形成詞彙化過程中，構詞、句法及語義層面均發生變化。我們歸納出影響西語複合構詞詞彙化的重要因素，包括語素融合、慣用語特徵、句法功能弱化、類推與再分析現象等。最終，我們延展詞彙化與語法化的互補機制理論，並運用在複合詞上。我們認為，這兩種轉換機制，在西文中，是一種位於同一形態層面上運作的相輔相成過程，兩者機制在構詞過程中，呈現出並行互動的關係。｜This study examines the phenomenon of lexicalization in Spanish morphological components. It analyzes the lexicalization process of Spanish compositional patterns. It shows the formal and semantic characteristics of the lexicalization behavior experienced by structures of syntagmatic origin in the production of formations. The analysis reveals that phenomena such as fusion, idiomatization, syntactic weakening, analogy, reanalysis, and recategorization are indispensable factors in Spanish lexical formation. Ultimately, this study proposes a theoretical extension of the complementary model between lexicalization and grammaticalization, applying it specifically to the domain of compound formation. The findings further demonstrate that grammaticalization and lexicalization in Spanish are mutually complementary processes and functionally integrated processes that operate within a shared morphological domain, that operate in the same morphological terrain. A close interaction between these two processes is dynamically observed in word formation.

title: 透由美洲西語電影教授西班牙文多樣性:學生問卷調查實踐與反思 abstract: Este artículo explora la enseñanza de las variedades del español a través de películas hispanoamericanas, con el objetivo de reflexionar sobre su efectividad en el aula y su impacto en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes. A través de una encuesta realizada a 18 estudiantes, se analizan sus percepciones sobre la importancia de las variedades del español y la utilidad de las películas como herramienta pedagógica. Los resultados muestran que los estudiantes valoran la diversidad lingüística del español y consideran el cine hispanoamericano como una herramienta útil para mejorar su comprensión del idioma, además de aumentar su motivación para aprender de manera autodidacta. Este estudio se enmarca dentro de un curso de "Cine Español", que tiene como objetivo trabajar las películas hispanoamericanas durante el primer semestre.

title: La conceptualización metonímica en la formación de palabras de las lenguas española y china abstract: Para la lingüística cognitiva, la metáfora y la metonimia constituyen los dos mecanismos básicos para la representación y la formulación de la realidad. Ventanas al mundo, agentes, procesos y resultados del cambio semántico, metáfora y metonimia sustentan, además, el sistema nocioconceptual del pensamiento humano (Lakoff y Johnson 1980). Gran parte de las palabras tanto compuestas como derivadas presenta un principio lexicogenésico basado en metáforas, metonimias y metaftonimias (Goosens 1990). Fundamentada en investigaciones previas sobre la metáfora conceptual y otra en curso sobre la metonimia conceptual, esta ponencia se centrará en el papel de la metonimia en la formación de palabras del español y el chino, concretamente en dos de sus procedimientos más productivos: la derivación en español y la composición en chino. Contrastar dos idiomas de tipología morfológica tan dispar como el español y el chino permite asimismo ponderar la plausibilidad de una base metonímica universal en la lexicogénesis de las lenguas.

title: Taiwanese urban legends: formation, characteristics and dissemination abstract: This article is based on the first collection of urban legends (ULs) in Taiwan (2019), with summaries of contemporary legends in Spanish, English, and Chinese. The discussion here revolves around how cultural differences reach such an extreme that they tend to make complex, not only the collection of ULs and their variants, but also their very essence and classification. To this end, social, cultural, and psychosocial factors that intervene in the formation, structure, and belief in ULs in Taiwan will be exposed and analyzed. In addition, the research will expose the idiosyncratic characteristics of Taiwanese culture, which favor the spread and acceptance of contemporary legends as part of the empirical reality.
